Flickr Faves.

I love my set of Flickr Favorites this week! Can you tell I had a bit of sub-theme going on? To see the original photograph, click here, and then click on the individual images for a better view, and to see more of these talented photographer's work. I started a photography class this week, and I am so excited! Thank goodness, sans the camera, that digital photography is free, because I have a feeling I'm going to be shooting more than ever! Thanks, as aways to the talented pool of photographers on Flickr for your constant inspiration and guidance.

You're always posting the loveliest Flickr mosaics. I'm tickled with inspiration.

Your mosaics is what got me into Flickr and I do try to find inspiration there but have a hard time finding such lovely stuff.

How do you do it? Do you mostly check out the groups you follow or use tags, etc? Sometimes I get overwhelmed out there!

great pictures! I envy you for the photography class, I wish I could do the same now. Maybe in the autumn.. But I need a good camera before that! Nice wekend for you!

I think this is one of the lovliest sets you've curated yet! The two split frames with tree branches with ma/woman are extremely poweful images - love the bambi and dyed tongue too:-)

Can't wait to see the pics you end up taking with the class. Just remember, it is not the technical that makes a great image but the inspiration. The technical in the end opens doors for you and, after you get it all under your belt, helps bring to reality your imagination.

I'm self-taught and I can say that "practice makes perfect" is so true about the craft of photography.

carrie, i just look at people's work that i admire - and then look at their favorites, and then on and on. they usually have similar taste and i find new talent from jumping from stream to stream. it's quite fun, and addicting.

i'm so glad you all liked this set as much as i did! :)
