Swedish Style Check.

I thought I'd check in on the Swedish masters of inexpensive, yet chic design, Ikea online and see what's new. There's a few things I thought were really cool and all of them at those delectably low Ikea prices. Like these Jonathan Adler-like Färm vases in various white textures- only $2 bucks each...

I love this wool Kramfors sofa, even though I'm not too sure about the name they gave it...doesn't sound too comfortable, does it? But it looks great online and I love the chartruese color. Add a fun splash of color with this Bettan Figur floral cotton pillow for a really clean, fresh look.

Paired with this Tord Björklund designed Magiker glass & wood coffee table, it takes on a sleek, modernist look. And the table is so functional with its little glass-covered shelves for displaying books, accessories or any old thing you'd like.

This Docksta table is a lovely, white knock off of the 1956 Saarinen dining table and looks most excellent. And I thought it would look good with four of these Linus rattan & steel-framed chairs around it.

Or, as often is the case in our small apartments, if you're place is short on space I really like this lime green Muddus drop-leaf table. Placed against a wall it could serve as both a fun desk, or perfect for a small dining nook. All of the above pieces can be had for a grand total of about $900. As always, Ikea's bringing cool, afforable design to the people.

kramfors is a town in sweden, but, so funny that the word sounds unconfy to you, because the word "kram" in swedish means "hug". a bit more comfortable now...? :) kram...

I have that dining table (saarinen inspired) with jacobsen chairs. It looks great. Also I used that little folding table in the kitchen, very handy (mine in red)
