Art At Home.

A lot of you wrote to me and commented about the art in my home, so I thought I'd take a look around flickr and see what other art there was to see, art to inspire! There is so much affordable, beautiful artwork, and incredible access to it these days, I think everyone should have their own galleries of beloved works of art - from family, from friends, from etsy and many of the great and inexpensive online galleries out there these days. For many more resources for afforable art, scroll down my blog roll on the right and take a look at the links under Cool Art You Can Afford. Ah, the inspiration of it all! I hope you can find some here.

Such lovely color and silhouettes from Creature Comforts.

I love these empty Frames from Revolutionary Girl.

I know we've seen it around, but that's because we all love Lisa Congdon's brilliant gallery!

Michelle Caplan's current gallery of her fabulous collage work.

I really like Snailbooty's wall of mayhem and sketches.
I wish I could have s studio space like this.

These colors from Display Lady's wall are pretty special
and I love the Chris Johanson poster.

And I always love seeing how Camilla Engman displays her collections.

For some people it's sometimes intimidating making wall collages.
I posted some ideas and diagrams on my blog on how to make it easier for yourself. Please take a look:

Thanks for this - I have a severe etsy/tinyshowcase habit and I'm in the process of getting everything framed and up on the walls. I'm happy to see that other people agree that more is better when it comes to wall art!

Thanks for sharing with us these fascinating pictures. One should have a look in the Toronto houses, you can`t find blank walls, every little space is used to represent a beautiful work of art. I need to extend our home to enrich with new pictures and other decorations as it is already full. For me obtaining a new picture means the greatest excitement.
