R U L E: You can't have a fabulous apartment, and not have fabulous hair.

Well, technically, you could, but would you really want to? With that in mind, I went to see my Ernest today. What would I do without my dear Ernesto? He has been my stylist for, I think, about four years now, and I love him. I love him, and our time together, and what he does for my hair - color & cut - he's the MAN! Not only does he do an amazing job on my hair, but we have a fantastic time talking about important world affairs, such as 'Project Runway', why Britney sticks with Kevin, 'The Devil Wears Prada' and an assortment of other really critical stuff. Oh, and today I think we touched ever so slightly on our dogs, our summer travel plans and racism. I leave looking great and, like, totally informed! Anyway, if you live in or visit the bay area, I highly recommend my Ernest. He's at the fun and stylish salon, Patrick Richards, in Laurel Heights. You can always count on Patrick's great tunes, stylin' funky decor and relaxed (and informative!) atmosphere.

It's on Sacramento @ Spruce (I think). It's tiny. I used to go to Oxenrose too, but she messed up my color BAD once - long time ago. Yeah - Patrick collects all kinds of tiki stuff...

Coop and I went to the beach today too - so nice. Just got in from a really fun dinner party where we sat in the backyard all night and it was so warm - lovely! Time to sleep!

Your 'do' in the pic looks right.
Is that your great poka-dot tote bag in the pic. Is it big? Is it zippered? Is it online and available from...?
