What would we do without the comfort of our dear, sweet dogs in difficult times? Feisty George looks pretty comforting in this shot. My thoughts are with you (sometimes in the form of cupcakes) at the passing of your Dad, Bruce. From what you tell me, he was brilliant and very quick-witted (just like you!). I know you, your sister and your mom will miss him dearly.

What a lovely picture... George looks so at peace and angelic and pretty darn comfortable in the lap of a loved one...
Animals touch our souls like some people never can... they offer comfort, and peace, and company, and unconditional love just when we need it most. They ask no questions, they pass no judgment. They are just there for *you*, in the moment...

Thanks Terramia. It's been a couple of rough weeks - both of my best friends' lost a parent over the holidays. My heart hurts for them - I'm glad I have Coop here with me.
