Me and Maxwell.
Today, it's me and Maxwell live from San Francisco! The View From The Bay, a local ABC TV show will be taping here in my apartment today, with Maxwell Gillingham-Ryan as the guest of honor, speaking about his book Apartment Therapy Presents Real Homes, Real People, Hundreds of Real Design Solutions. I appeared, or rather my apartment and I appeared, in the book, so Maxwell's going to take a mini home tour of my place, and chat with the folks from View From The Bay while I go hide in another room! I may make an appearance, but am a bit camera shy, so we'll see! But, I'm excited and honored to have Maxwell here showing off my place. I believe it airs live on their website at 3pm PST today, so tune in (or click below to watch the video), and see if I get over my stage fright!
Addendum: Chris has kindly just provided us with the link if you'd like to watch. Click here. Oh dear...I smile much more in person when not so bloody nervous!

congrats victoria! i'll see if i'm able to catch that today. i'm sure you will be great...when you love what you do the passion always comes though!
that's awesome - congrats!
small pet peeve of mine, but since you I think appreciate details: We are in Daylights Savings Time right now (from March to November), so it is NOT correct to say 'PST', which stands for Pacific Standard Time. You could say that the show is on at 3pm PDT, or better yet, it's probably just easiest to say 3pm PT.
Congrats Victoria! It would be cool to see you show off your apartment in person...don't hide please!! You're fabu sister! I will definitely try to tune in online today!
That's fabulous! I just set my Tivo to record it!
Yay! Congrats on the feature!
sweet! :)
Oh my goodness, I have Apartment Therapy at home but I haven't opened it up yet! I will go home and take a look at your pad!
Congratulations! Wish I'd seen this earlier, I hope they re-air it!
thanks y'all! and sorry josh...my bad. ;)
they said if you go to their website, the video will be up for three weeks for viewing. ugh! :)
Just watched online - congrats on the segment Victoria!
Well I missed it. Shoot. And I can't get it to play now. This really puts a hitch in my stalking of you and your fabulous blog!
I just found a link to the segment:

Congratulations Victoria!
Thanks so much Chris!
Great feature Victoria...it was fun to see AND hear you and I always love another look at your apt. You and your space looked great!!
so cool! i forwarded video link to my sister b/c she knows how much i enjoy your blog.
btw, you looked fabulous, victoria!
pretty fidgety and making goofy faces if you ask me! but thank you guys, you are very kind! ;)
oh my gosh! teehee, Ken and I just watched it together. We especially liked your tiny little "yah" just before the balcony shot. so adorable! honestly you looked incredibly genuine and it would have been impossible to get a word in edge wise with the apartment therapy guy as he is very practiced and has a good schtick! We loved it sfgirlbybay!
lori - LOL! that was the most awkward pause ever - "yah!". that was the worst part! i just snort laughed thinking about it!!! ;) omg! so weird and random!! i was lost. lol!!
like I said- extremely genuine and adorable! ;)
wow, victoria, this came out great! you look so adorable, and of course your place is - as always - to die for. i hope this opens you up to a whole new world of contacts! congrats.
You looked great! Congrats :-)
Congrats Victoria! What a wonderful tour...you and your place look marvelous!!
Victoria,
It is truly fabulous! I went to the link and finally got it to play. Wow! Such fun to see the apt. and you "live"! The A.T. fellow was very good, and you did great as well. Congrats!
Yay! That's lovely! So fun to see it all in a more spacious way... And to see you of course! I sort of know what you've been going through, I was on dutch television with my home too a while ago. You always feel weird when you see yourself talking and behaving on the screen (my boyfriend comforted me saying that even the most famous actors feel weird looking at themselves)... I think you look so nice and sympathetic, you have a different voice than what I expected though! (lower I guess)
What fun to see you 'live'! You know, I've been following your blog for so long now that while watching the film I found myself thinking; oh, she's put the chairs differently again, as if I'm a regular visitor to your apt.! :-)
Congratulations! I would be nervous too about the camera!
What a nice compliment that was. You have such a lovley place (was that the exterior in the opening shot?! wow!) and such a fun blog. Thanks for sharing yourself with us.

pretty cool...
and as we already knew..your place looks great
hey hey victoria! so fun! i don't know what you are talking about - you looked great and did well - ten times better than i could ever do! congrats!
Great job!! The apartment looks beautiful and you looked beautiful. I love how your pink sweater picks up the pink accents in your place. I love your blog and wish I were as good as you are at putting everything together. Congrats!!!
I loved it and I thought you did great! Your place looks so nice, as always.
You did fab and I love your space - especailly the balcony.
thanks for posting, i missed catching it yesterday. you did a great job, far better than i would have! by the way maxwell's bio said that he lives in a 250 sq ft apartment...is that true? besides his wife, i thought they have a toddler too. i can't quite imagine it...
thank you all so very much for all your kind comments. it was not easy, but a great experience.
maja - maxwell was indeed living in a 265 sq. foot apartment with his wife and daughter, but they have since moved into a larger apartment. but he did do that, which i find remarkable!
You made an appearance! You looked lovely and your apartment is so chic and cute! Loved it!
Great feature! It was nice to see your lovely apartment in moving pictures ;)
You looked terrific and you and Maxwell gave some great advice (that I will try to follow in my own apartment). The show's producers could have done away with the muzak in the background though!
Congratulations to you!
I just watched it too, congratulations. How scary, I did a radio interview once and I was a mess and such a dork, I can't imagine being filmed and also being in your own home. It looked great and it's lovely to see/hear you.
Hey Victoria! I just watched the video...
Bravo!
I know I've told you this before: You are so pretty!
great work!
